Friendliness of staff, quiet rooms and excellent breakfast.
Nothing to dislike
great staff no waiting, very helpfull, clean easy to find great location clean fresh towels great value great breakfast
+ very friendly staff + very good location (quiet but central)
- the food in the restaurant was bad (Monday: steak - terrible, Tuesday Chicken burger - way below average)
To me it seems as if the staff would like to work there. And I also know the other side also. What may have many different reasons!
Loud noise in room was dealt with promptly!
Poor service had to ask twice for aditional pillows. Buffet breakfast hot food was cold. Not enough coffee and tea in the room.
Everything, staff would do anything to help.Resteraunt, food excellent and prices comparable or better than most of the local eateries.
Receptionist were so helpful, anything we needed we asked and they delivered. Location is just 2 minutes walk from nearest station, hotel location was also quite. Breakfast was vast too.
The room lacked space due to the fact that a standard room was turned into accommodating 2 adults and 2 kids leaving hardly any space.
Very well located (5mn walk to Blackfriars station, less than 15 mn walk to the West end theatres), new, clean and very good value. Nothing fancy but ideal for a cheap and yet comfortable stay near the city centre
Entrance hall unwelcoming, staff very efficient but cold and unfriendly, overall impression of a cheap hotel (which it isn't )
Very clean modern hotel in a good position on the edge of the City but convenient to the West End .The breakfasts were excellent and the staff without exception friendly and helpful.
Location & price
Utilitarian checkin area
Fantastic service. We were welcomed with professional and friendly staff when checking in. Throughout our stay we felt very well looked after. First class breakfast. Great value!
The location was terrific; close to train and tube stations, major attractions ( St.Paul's, Globe Theater, Tate Gallery) Brand new very clean and modern yet very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
WiFi charges for each device. Restaurant closes quite early in evening and the choices for a sit-in breakfast are limited to all-in English style. It would have been nice to have a Continental style breakfast without having to take out.
Helpful, friendly staff. Good room. Good breakfast - food and ambience.
Great location, very clean, comfortable no frills.
We had dinner there one of the nights, paid cash then after coming home they kept ringing me wondering how/ if I paid for the dinner. Obviously one of the staff either made a mistake or swipped money from the till but I wasn't impressed with all the phone calls quizzing me about it.
great location, easy access to tube, very clean and good breakfast
is a bit pricey
